Conference Fees
Conference Fees include:
- Welcome Evening drinks and refreshments on Saturday 22nd, sponsored in part by Springer and
- The PESA 2014 Conference Dinner on Sunday 23rd, sponsored by Taylor & Francis/ Routledge the publishers of Educational Philosophy & Theory)
We have had such a tremendous response to the CFP that we plan to begin the conference first thing on Saturday morning.
Therefore we urge people book their travel and accommodation to arrive on Friday night 21st November so they can be present right from the start of the conference. We are now planning an informal welcome over drinks at the Kingsgate on Friday evening 21st November for those arriving early.
We anticipate the conference finishing in the afternoon of November 25.
The Conference Committee will be readily identifiable to assist people and we also have a small team to assist overseas participants: Sonja Arndt, Lynley Tulloch, Carl Mika.

Conference grants
PESA provides a grant of up to AUD$400 for members who are postgraduate students and/or retired. To be eligible, you must:
- present either a full paper OR a working paper presentation ,
- name your supervisor,
- be a member of PESA, and
- provide banking details via BSB etc, at the Conference, for e-reimbursement by the treasurer of up to AUD$400.
The conference grant fund is limited and payments are at the discretion of the Treasurer. These details are confirmed at on the main PESA website here.
