Tina Besley is Professor of Education & Director, Centre for Global Studies in Education.
Her research interests include: philosophy of education – especially especially the later work of Michel Foucault – subjectivity, parrhesia, governmentality as applied to education; interculturalism & global studies in education – policy, identities and cultures; academic entrepreneurship in the creative economy and global knowledge economy; sociology of education; social justice; youth studies; counseling & narrative therapy. Peter Roberts PhD, FPESA University of Canterbury, New Zealand
Peter Roberts is Professor of Education and Director of the Educational Theory, Policy and Practice Research Hub at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. His primary areas of scholarship are philosophy of education and educational policy studies. His research interests include ethics and education, literature and education, the pedagogy of Paulo Freire, and tertiary education policy. His latest book is Happiness, Hope, and Despair: Rethinking the Role of Education (2016).
