The affairs of the Society are managed by an Executive Committee, appointed by the members at the AGM. PESA rules allow for some functions to be delegated to one of more sub-Executive Committees, currently noted as ‘Portfolios’ and listed below.

Tina Besley is Professor of Education & Director, Centre for Global Studies in Education.
Her research interests include: philosophy of education – especially especially the later work of Michel Foucault – subjectivity, parrhesia, governmentality as applied to education; interculturalism & global studies in education – policy, identities and cultures; academic entrepreneurship in the creative economy and global knowledge economy; sociology of education; social justice; youth studies; counseling & narrative therapy.
