Sally Haslanger (MIT)
When: Mar 3, 2021 - Mar 8, 2021
The Philosophy of Education Society invites fellow scholars with philosophical questions about education, in all its forms, to our 77th Annual Meeting, March 3-8, 2021. The program is entirely online this year, with sessions scheduled to maximize access for scholars in different time zones. Registration has been priced to make this conference unusually accessible, so there's no better time to engage the high-quality presentations on our program. Presentations will be available in video and/or text format in advance of the conference, with most synchronous meeting sessions dedicated to enlivening questions and discussion.
Please view the program here.
We welcome new members along with returning members and are offering a $5 registration rate for first-time attendees. Additionally, we have provided COVID-19 related hardship rates for established supporters who have less access to funding this year. Highlights of the conference include this year's Kneller lecturer, Sally Haslanger (MIT). Her talk is entitled: Reproducing Social Hierarchy (or Not): How Do we Learn and Unlearn Ideology?
